• To ensure plant safety and hazard-free environment along with a healthy workplace.
• Ensure all operations in the plant are carried out following policy and procedures of S.H.E and violation if any is immediately identified and addressed.
• Responsible for proper development of green area in the surrounding of plant which helps in pollution control, environment protection and results in beautification of plant.
• Ensure laid down PTW (Permit to work) and LOTO (Lock out Tag out) procedures are followed religiously.
• Ensure S.H.E status of the plant is discussed in various meetings (Daily Quality Meeting, Weekly Production Meeting, USHEC Meeting (Unit Safety health, Environment Committee meeting) and safety review meeting)
