The Plant Head will ensure the smooth and efficient running of all plant activities, from production to quality assurance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is vital for maintaining our high standards in manufacturing and ensuring. compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Responsibilities Develop and implement plans to achieve production targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, and drive a culture of quality. Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote workplace safety. Monitor production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize plant operations. Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.Qualifications Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of Industry experience at a Chemical or Pharmaceutical manufacturing unit. Proven experience in a managerial role in a chemical manufacturing plant. Strong knowledge of production management and maintenance operations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
