Job SummaryWe are looking for a Production Operations Engineer who is responsible for the operational support of our intelligence products and front-line customer management for any incident reports. The Production Operations Engineer ensures maximum uptime of our deployments and performs any required system updates in the form of patches, hotfixes or upgrades. He or she is also part of the escalation, issue triage and technical support processes. He or she will assist with prioritization of technical issues, escalations to engineering team, and coordinating resolutions with our clients.Candidates from similar background and experience preferred.Responsibilities and DutiesEngage with our client to design, deploy, implement or integrate the product into staging or production environment effectively, seamlessly and securelyResponsible for monitoring, supporting, and administering production environment with initial onboarding, batch/service pack management, upgrades and recoveryDesign and maintain automation code for deployment and configuration of systems and servicesFollow customer production deployment procedures and design the best technical approach with network and access constraintsAct as a first responder to customer issues and inquiries, and escalate these to the Engagement Manager and engineering team as appropriateFollow production support processes to document day to day support activities, contribute to knowledge baseRequired Experience, Skills and QualificationsMinimum 3 years proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar roleHands-on experience with enterprise analytics software and Windows/Linux/Mac OS environmentsAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issuesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsSelf-driven, motivated and results oriented, customer-centric mindsetBachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
