Job Description

    School Teacher Responsibilities
    1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to support the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children.
    2. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence.
    3. Provide a variety of learning experiences, including play-based activities, group discussions, and individualized instruction, to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of children.
    4. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote open communication and collaboration.
    5. Monitor and assess each childs progress and development, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents on a regular basis.
    6. Support children in developing essential skills, such as language and communication, problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills, and social interactions.
    7. Promote good behavior and discipline through positive reinforcement techniques and age-appropriate classroom rules and expectations.
    8. Encourage the development of independence and self-help skills, such as toileting, dressing, and eating.
    9. Plan and organize field trips, events, and special activities that enhance the curriculum and provide opportunities for hands-on learning experiences.
    10. Stay updated on current early childhood education practices and trends by attending professional development workshops, conferences, and continuing education courses.
    School Teacher Required Skills
    1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with young children, parents, and colleagues.
    2. Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and implement daily routines and activities.
    3. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude to create a supportive and caring environment for children.
    4. Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging and interactive learning materials and activities.
    5. Ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
    6. Knowledge of child development theories and practices, including early literacy and numeracy, art, music, and physical education.
    7. Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
    8. Familiarity with technology and the ability to incorporate age-appropriate educational resources and tools into teaching practices.
    9. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices with colleagues.
