Job Description

    Job Summary:The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory. This role is responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing inventory processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Operational Management:
      • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
      • Ensure efficient use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and space.
      • Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    2. Staff Management:
      • Hire, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, including supervisors and associates.
      • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
      • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs and manage scheduling.
    3. Inventory Management:
      • Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy.
      • Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems and processes.
      • Conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies as needed.
    4. Safety and Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
      • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
      • Conduct safety training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations.
    5. Customer Service:
      • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations.
      • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
    6. Process Improvement:
      • Analyze warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
      • Implement best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
    7. Reporting and Documentation:
      • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order status, and employee performance.
      • Ensure proper documentation for all transactions and activities.
    • Skills:
      • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
      • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry up to [X] pounds.
    • Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
