Job Description

    Dear CandidatesGreetings,Profile:Investment OfficerWork Location:Surat, Rajkot, Baroda, AhmedabadExperience: At Least 2 YearsWORK SUMMARY:
    1. To be an integral part of the Investment Services in an incredibly competitive Client facing environment with the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
    2. Must be presentable, flexible, willing to learn, detail oriented, highly organized and professional
    3. - with the ability to multi-task and adhere to the highest ethical standards at Sundaram.
    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
    1. Make regular service-oriented calls to qualified individuals.
    2. File and maintain client documents.
    3. Gather, organize and prepare marketing material and manage periodic mailings.
    4. Prospecting and contacting qualified individuals, understand their financial needs, gauge their level of investment interest, schedule appointments or send marketing material.
    5. Process investment mandates speak to investors to gather personal, financial information and prepare all necessary investment documents.
    6. Flexible with work schedule, extra hours may be required when client demands. Ability to travel within the state for client appointments.
    7. Manage your clients and provide timely response to their questions and requests. Comply with Company policies, procedures and compliance rules and regulations.
    8. Must be able to qualify any certifications that may be mandated by SEBI, IRDA & AMFI rules and regulations. Other tasks as assigned by the Regional Investment Manager and the Head Sales.
    PRELIMINARY QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    2. Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
    3. NISM Advisory Certification (Module V A) Mandatory
    4. Driving License and Bachelors Degree mandatory.
    5. Willingness to keep upgrading technical and managerial qualifications.
    EXPERIENCE:
    1. Investment Officers are required to have at least 2-3 years of experience in client facing relationship functions.
    2. Preference given to candidates with similar work profile with Financial Institutions and Distribution houses.
    3. Investment Managers are required to have at least 5 years of experience in client facing relationship functions.
    4. Of which at least 2 years must be in a similar work profile in Financial Services with established Financial Institutions and Distribution houses.
    5. Preference would be given to candidates who have been managing their own client base and also managing own team.
