Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of injection moulding machines.
• Troubleshooting technical problems with injection moulding machines and making necessary repairs.
• Collaborating with production teams to minimize machine downtime and ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Conducting regular inspections of machines and equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Evaluating and selecting vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services.
• Developing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Analyzing maintenance data and generating reports to inform decision-making.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
• Training and mentoring maintenance staff to improve their skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Btech/B.E in Mechanical or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of injection moulding machines.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with relevant manufacturing standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet maintenance deadlines.
• Ability to train and mentor maintenance staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Type: Regular / Permanent Pay: 925,000.00 - 935,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Flexible shift

• Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
