Job Description

-knowledge of lab testing like1. Sand Testing2. Spectrometer Testing3. Microscope Testing4. Chemical Testing5. Hardness Tensile Testing

  • Strong knowledge &understanding in Physical Metallurgy of Steels, Al Alloys, Mg alloys, Super alloys etc.
  • Sound knowledge & understanding of fracture mechanics and failure modes in the systems of interest.
  • Experience in metal processing by casting, rolling, forging etc., especially of Al Alloy / Al matrix composites.
    • investigating corrosion and metal failure/fatigue
      • carrying out laboratory-based analysis of samples
      • using both destructive and non-destructive techniques to test composition
      • developing new test and repair processes
      • investigating production problems
  • Diploma or BE in Metallurgical engineering
