Job Description

  1. Motor Affinity Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement Long range plan for the vertical for rapid expansion and growth
    • Develop and implement strategy for motor affinity channel to achieve AOP sales targets
    • Scan market and identify high potential cities/ areas/outlets for motor affinity channel setup based on various parameters (e.g. concentration of commercial/ two wheelers vehicles, customer footfall, manpower availability) to identify petrol pump partners for business.
    • Interact with Management team of Oil Companies and key potential petrol pumps to explain business proposition build business partnerships
    • Negotiate deal with key petrol pump owners and onboard them as partners, and also identify other big partners in the vicinity (schools, colleges, credit customers of petrol pumps) and large Fleet customers to acquire business
    • Present to management team of corporate customers for cross-selling
    • Identify new avenues of untapped business like battery shops, tyre retails etc. for business expansion
  1. Motor Affinity Operations Review
    • Identify various business parameters to be tracked (e.g. customer data collection, customer conversion etc.) and monitor them on a regular basis.
    • Conduct market mapping and new intermediary acquisition
    • Oversee on boarding of new Intermediary and ensure business activation
    • Identify gaps in operational performance and plan actions/ initiatives to bridge gaps
    • Conduct market visits to collect intermediary/ petrol pump owner/ own team/ end customer feedback on issues / roadblock being faced on-ground, and plan actions
    • Identify efficiency improvement opportunities utilizing technology (e.g. QR code at pumps) to increase faster turn-around, improve customer experience
  1. Partner Relationship Building
    • Interact with large intermediaries to maintain business and business planning for them to grow business.
    • Relationship management with OEM to extract support from there field team, understand expectations and resolve any issues if any
  1. Team Development
    • Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent at senior positions within the function
    • Training need identification based on GAP analysis. Conduct regular training of team members (understanding of products, pitching for long term polices etc.) to plan specific training programs
    • Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team.
    • Motivating team members through R&R activity to maintain high engagement level
