Visual / UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled junior visual / user-experience (UX) designer to join our design team. You will collaborate closely with our senior designers to elevate the visual elements of our product, website, and marketing materials. Additionally, you have the chance to participate in end-to-end workflows for product features. While your focus will initially be on enhancing the product visual designs, we anticipate your contributions to the overall user experience for various product features as you grow in the role.Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the development, expansion and maintenance of our design system, including creation of new components, component variations, icons, etc.
2. Contribute to design and development of marketing activities like website, blog posts, e-books, social media posts and other such activities
3. Work closely with the design team and front-end team to enhance and execute the overall visual design of the entire product.
4. Participate in ideation for end-to-end product features and workflows, to ensure that the product is intuitive.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams (product, design, development, marketing, etc.) to ensure design solutions are aligned with user expectations and business objectives.
Requirements:Qualifications: Bachelors degree or diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.Experience:Minimum3to 4 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a product- focused environment.Strong understanding of typography, color theory, iconography and keen interest in developing design systems.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Portfolio showcasing relevant design projects and processes
