We serve 99% of the Fortune 100, 90% of the Fortune 500, and are the market leader in Software-defined Storage, Data Protection, and Archiving.A Sr. Sales Operations Specialist plays a key role in executing both strategic and tactical activities, provide end-to-end functional/operational guidance on the processes while performing on key operational tasks within the Veritas Global Operations Team. Candidate to have an ability to implement key business concepts like project management, change management and process improvement in her/his day-to-day operational responsibilities. This opportunity requires experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations and is an extremely analytical role that requires you to articulate and develop detailed quotes in order to enable recurring renewal business opportunities. Interested applicants should be highly energetic, display strong analytical capabilities, should be goal oriented and can thrive in a sales environment. Candidate should begin to develop a strong knowledge base on multiple operational activities and products across the organization. An individual contributor who can perform with little guidance. Candidate should be willing to adapt flexible shift and extended work hours per business requirement.Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

  • Renewals Quote Creation / Validation in (Oracle Sales Cloud CPQ and ERP R12) to support renewals sales team
  • Prepare dashboards, data analytics and presentations for Senior executives discussions
  • Report the status of the quotes, advise the sales team on renewals opportunities in pipeline
  • Provide 2nd level of support on escalation of queries with respect to quoting ops processes and renewals programs
  • Work with global stakeholders (as SPOC) on renewals pipeline analysis and insights while exhibiting strong understanding of end-to-end sales process and renewals quoting processes
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Deal Management, Order Management and other key stakeholders for smooth order booking
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales team and operations teams
  • Provide renewals pipeline analysis and insights to senior leadership and business partners
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of processes, products & service information and updates
  • Track, report and maintain the daily process metrics
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent education with 7-8 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in business operations - Ideally has worked within quoting operations and/or order management within an MNC (However, not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Sales Cycle and its basic requirements
  • Knowledge of CRM systems usage; Keen understanding of Oracle CRM (Sales Cloud) or any other CRM system
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors and key stakeholders
  • Self-starter and a proactive can do innovative attitude
  • Requires excellent communication skills, cross functional experience and strong interpersonal skills
  • Results and detail oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A carrier of Forward Looking growth mindset with an aptitude to embrace automation to optimize processes
  • Lean Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to work in night shift to support global GEOs operations
Technologies:
  • Good understanding of advanced Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word required
  • Good aptitude of key business concepts (Project management, Change management, process improvement to name a few)
  • Good understanding of Systems & Tools including CRM Tools (~SFDC, Oracle CRM), Microsoft Office, Quoting Tools such as CPQ, BMI (Big Machines), OBIEE, etc. training to be provided if needed
  • Oracle Sales Cloud/R12 hands-on experience (Any other CRM/ERP system knowledge)
