Job Description

Position : R & D Sr. Chemist Department - Protective Coating Location : Pune Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage India R&D Protective Coatings plan according to program.
  • Ensure we have the right products for the India market, by developing new products, improve and optimize the existing ones using new technologies and /or raw material as defined by regional R&D and Local marketing with IB in Norway.
  • Test alternate raw materials to optimize formulations and boost the purchasing power, ultimately reducing cost.
  • Provide technical information and support in the region by visiting sites.
  • Test and competitors products thoroughly to build confidence among sales and marketing prior to launching new products in the market.
  • Continuously looking for suitable alternate RMs/Vendors, identifying local test house in order to improve our efficiency in delivering products and service with agility.
  • Work closely with team members and support to deliver department goals.
  • Ensure implementation of 5s and HSEQ in lab as per organization policy
  • Provide support & Collaborate with other functions of the organization to meet the common goals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master degree
  • Minimum 7 to 9 years of relevant work experience
  • Active supporter of company values
