Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall automation strategy, tools and technologies selection for the product test automation - includes unit/component/feature test automation as applicable.
  • Define and communicate the test automation vision, high-level roadmap, overall test architecture and engineering considerations to the entire (dev/QA/Automation) team
  • Perform validation testing of the product with these co-existent platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Share automation best practices & set high standards for the entire team to build consistent maintainable automation & automation subsystems products
  • Guiding Proof-of-concept (POC) projects and development of major test components in the system
  • System Administration and VCS administration as part of the product testing and integration
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:
  • BE/MS/B.Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science or IT with 3-4 years of experience in s/w development, QA & automation at various levels like Unit (white-box) /Component/functional.
  • Experience on different platforms like Linux, Solaris , Virtualization (vmware, ldoms, zones etc)
  • QA Automation tools and scripting (bash, perl, python, robot)
  • Experience with VCS and SF products
  • Experience or knowledge on applications, databases, cloud (AWS, openstack) would be added advantage.
  • Experience of Agile methodologies added advantage
