Job Description

  • Communicate in Chinese language with exclusive Chinese speaking suppliers and internal stake holder.
  • Support team to address challenges related to communication with Chinese Language supplier / site contact.
  • Call Chinese speaking supplier to understand the situation and provide the solution for the situation along with the consultation of buyer.
  • Drive calls with suppliers and share MOM and follow up on the issue till closure.
  • To meet or exceed desired service levels as defined for the work assigned, validated through procurement metrics.
  • Coordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes.
  • Managing Chinese suppliers database.
  • To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service / Chinese Suppliers issues.
  • Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.
  • Own training system for the other team members to have the basic Mandarin speaking expertise.
  • Responsible for Completing detailed process documentation and getting the documentation approved by internal stake holder, document should be validated once in 6 months and capture changes if any in the process.
  • Interpretation in live meetings for new transitions and site related calls.
  • Interface between china and local business segments.
  • Train teams on basic Chinese language skills.Here is some of what you will need (required):
  • Order processing
  • Supply chain management
  • Order management
  • Procurement
  • Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
  • Experience in BPO / Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics
  • Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
  • Some exposure to voice process will be highly preferredHere are a few of our preferred experiences:
