Job Description

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is a Second Line of Defense risk discipline within BNY Mellons Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, and is responsible for providing independent risk management oversight of BNY Mellons third-party risk exposure by ensuring external third-party and inter-affiliate service provider risks are accurately identified and appropriately managed across the Firms global footprint in alignment with the risk appetite.Your roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a talented Specialist to join our team Third Party Risk Management team, within R&C Global Centers structure in Pune. As Specialist you will support the Head of Third Party Risk Management in oversight and challenge risk management practices in the third party and inter-affiliate area, working closely with First Line of Defence stakeholders.As a successful candidate you will be given opportunity to acquire and develop knowledge from related fields:

  • Support the development of an enterprise-wide third-party risk framework that enables the aggregation of third-party risk information collected through the portfolio of engagements
  • Support regional oversight of Third Party Risk Management
  • Interpret and analyze data gathered throughout the Third Party Management Lifecycle to identify third-party risks and potential red-flags signifying increasing risk exposure and emerging concentration risk
  • Support the development and implementation of key risk indicators (KRI) to facilitate identification of third-party risks
  • Develop and maintain the corporate policies and procedures
  • Execute the deep dive assessments to understand vendor risk profiles
Qualifications
  • Experience or sufficient knowledge pertaining to third-party risk and/or the third party management lifecycle (2 + years)
  • Audit Experience and/or Technology Risk Experience (good to have)
  • Knowledge of APAC and global third-party regulatory requirements
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Strong communication and organizational/program management skills
  • Strong self-management skills
