Job Description

What will you contribute Reporting to the Development Senior Manager, the Software Engineer designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high-quality software product applications. You will be part of a team responsible of Open API projects delivery on top of Finastra innovative Platform, Fusion Fabric. Cloud. This position is located in Pune.Responsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as a Software Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design, Coding, Unit Testing and Documentation for a feature/module
  • Maintenance of existing features/modules
  • Working with Business Analysts and internal customers to ensure that requirements are understood
  • Participating in solution approach, test plan and code reviews
  • Ownership and accountability to deliver on agreed upon plans on schedule and to defined quality standards
  • Ability to work with little day to day supervision from project and/or line manager
  • Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager
  • Escalation of critical issues in a timely fashion
  • Helping in improvement of engineering process and standards
Technical Skills/Requirements
  • 2 years of overall software development experience, preferably in a product development company
  • Demonstrated experience in building, shipping and supporting innovative, scalable enterprise-class applications
  • Experienced in an Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java, C or C#
  • Good understanding of Java, Spring, Spring boot, SOA/Web services, Restful APIs, EAI patterns, UML and OOAD.
  • Knowledge of , GIT, some scripting languages is nice to have
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum is appreciated
  • Financial industry experience development methodologies is appreciated.
