Job Description

  • Junior resource who is willing to learn the process, business and tools.
  • The Associate Software Engineer is first tasked with learning the business, understanding our process, and works closely with assigned mentors as well as his project teammates.
  • Understand basic computer science concepts while typically performing specific and carefully directed coding or testing tasks.
  • This person can communicate effectively verbally, via chat, and/or email.
  • This resource interacts with mentors, his/her technical manager, and the Technical Lead (TL) or Development Manager (DM) of an assigned project.
  • Accomplish assigned tasks, understand our tools, frameworks and processes, and learn about the business.
  • Responsible for assigned, measurable task and may require guidance from others while working on these tasks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent degree

Required Skills: Java, JSP, Servlets, Oracle/MySQL (or any other DB skill), Webservices (SOAP/REST), good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Spring Core, Hibernate, Python (or similar scripting language, PERL etc.), AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Junit, Mockito, Apache CXF and Git/ GitLab(Source control tool)
  • Exposure to US Clients
  • Prior experience in IVR
