Role tDevelop detailed requirements for upgrading existing corporate and MasterCard networks, as well as building network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies, and growth. tParticipates in telecommunications-related initiatives. tResearch and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions. tSupports assigned Global projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation. tEngaging with the broader technical community to anticipate developments in innovation, often evaluating new solutions and recommending future business network requirements tPerform audit of system logs for any alerts or failure events, including performance monitoring, and make appropriate recommendations tContinuously review work practices and procedures to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and output with minimal risk to the business - including risk management. tLead a major work stream or multiple smaller work streams for a large network domain initiative, often providing technical guidance and advice to project team members tResolve IT systems related issues with internal departments and clients. Document and communicate courses of action as appropriate and apply key learning where possible. tWork to meet all agreed Service Levels, recorded through logging of activity and reflected key performance indicators. tIdentify and document opportunities for improvement in applications and other technical systems used by partnering teams. tResolves network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally. tSupports Vendor management. All About You tOverall IT experience in the following areas: - Networking, including LAN/WAN - Firewalls - wireless - Security and encryption technologies tExperience with TCP/IP protocol communications. tBroad/Hands on knowledge across Leading Network Vendors such as Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Aruba, & Checkpoint. tBroad knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices. tKnowledge of Network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS and F5 load balancing technologies. tStrong command on Datacenter Network technologies tGood understanding of the organization s goals and objectives tSelf-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail tTeam player who can prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment tStrong verbal, written communications skills with a self-starter mentality that demonstrates exceptional listening skills (eg, Limited supervision; work may be reviewed for direction and strategy.)Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
