Job Responsibilities:The primary function in this role is to overseeTest developmentTest executionTools developmentSimulator developmentYour responsibilities will includeCommunicate frequently with customers and drive business optimum FW validationPlan, Present and track firmware validation and tool development schedulesPlanning and budgeting for capital equipment purchaseForecasting and managing lab space, ensure timely equipment calibration and equipment maintenanceHiring and retaining best talentPlanning and tracking the mentoring and training needs of the teamWorking with test equipment vendors to track the roadmaps and feature setsSurveying and tracking server and storage HW ecosystem changes including planning for compatibility testingSurveying and tracking Windows, Linux and VMware ecosystem changes including planning for compatibility testingAs a part of global FW organization and STE team, you will collaborate with other local and remote managers toImplement unified test automation practices and share improvementsImplement unified test management systemImplement unified continuous integrationPlan and track work items that are required to support other groups (e.g. simulator development, tools development, etc.)Requirements:B.S./M.S. (CS/EE) with 20+ years of total experience, 10+ years in a management position10+ years of programming experience in C/C++ and Python languages. Low level firmware development experience would be an added advantageExcellent English communication skillsProficient in project planning, project scoping and tracking. Proficiency in using MS Project would be an added advantageA successful candidate will have the first hand experience inAgile MethodologyManaging medium sized (50+) test and tools teamsSetting up CI, Integration Testing, System Testing, EVT/DVT/PVT testing.Taking a product to mass production with Tier 1 OEMsTesting products for server ecosystem (OS Qualification, sideband management (MCTP/SMBus), etc.)NVMe and PCIe protocol compliance testingImplementing Python/Pytest based automation systemLow level firmware development, unit testing and code coverage analysis.The PerksWith competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an incredible culture.
