Job Description

    Role : Pre-Sales Solutions Architect (Utilities Domain)( Role will be based in Singapore and should be ready to relocate )We are looking to help hire for our Global MNC Client the Pre Sales Solutions Architect role to You will be expected to take a senior role in providing for the design, delivery and demonstration of technically appropriate solutions to Our Client customers and prospects. Primarily working in pre-sales, applying enterprise and application architecture principles for systems being proposed or demonstrated considering the functionality and capabilities of Our Clients products and services.You will operate at the technical, commercial, and strategic levels to bring your experience and capability to support bids and proposals to improve customer value, reduce risks, improve upsell, and identify sales messaging to assist in securing new business. You will act with deep knowledge and insights to inspire trust and recognition of capability when presenting to. customers. You will be able to influence and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels within customer organisations including up to and including enterprise architects and business unit owners/operators.You will contribute to the discipline and cadence for demonstrations, POCs, and the build out of that capability in the region and liaise with other global pre-sales leaders and product managers to align, enhance, support, and leverage global capability. You will co-contribute to product strategy, value capture/benefits realisation messages, and ensure Our Clients customer facing presentations fully represent the value and capability to the customer.The Specifics The management of the technical aspects of pre-sales to provide effective, analysis, design, programming and preparation of software demonstrations and proposals Develop technical architecture and review of proposed solutions by Our Client teams Understand market trends and translate these into product requirements for Our Clients product teams. Producing architecture and design artefacts as deliverables to pre-sales Maintaining current knowledge of Our Client business plans, product and future developments, and contribute to the debates on forward product developments - proposing innovative and staged options towards longer term plans Providing technical and product consulting both internally and externally Working with customers and other architects, particularly in pre-sales and partners, to define and clarify requirements and specifying optimum design for solutions Analyse customer business problems that potentially extend Our Clients capabilities; and produces solution artefacts and broad estimations as deliverables for product and one-off solutions. Constructively challenge sales processes that are an impediment to business and customer success. Contribute to global efforts where required for complex bids, demonstrations, or presentations where local experience can enhance international proposals. Work side by side with sales person on technical account strategy Motivation and support of sales and project delivery teams to meet deadlines and propose optimal solutions Leading and mentoring team members at all levels to promote and develop strong technical expertise and practises across Our Client. Educating Our Client staff on customer business problems and how our Products and capabilities meet those customer needs. Limiting exposure to excessive delivery scope by selling to capabilities and clarifying assumptions, expectations and capabilities. Able to frame the customer business & financial value associated with the proposed extension of product functionality. Capable of drafting a business case to product management to support a new product capability. Explain complex technical concepts to business and technology customer audiences verbal and written Selling and contributing to our best of breed implementation and project delivery processes Able to undertake fluent product demonstrations from the customers business perspective - drawing on their deep product knowledge to relate Our Client capabilities to the customers business needs. Working with customers to upsell and show value in potential solutions to opportunities for innovation Significant input into preparing project and pre-sales proposals as required. Capacity to debate and discuss in real time the merits of a proposition put by the customer in a constructive manner, potentially leading to new opportunities. Contributing towards long-term business relationships between Our Client and customers Promoting Our Clients products and solutions to customers and endorsing best practise amongst the Our Client user group. Identifying and debating the best path forward for the customer in relation to Our Clients likely forward product direction. Provide a focal point for customer solution conversations. Translate customer business needs into solutions - identifying current solution capability, potential product extensions, and capabilities that best belong in a partner application.What were looking for Total experience of 15 20 years overall with a Minimum 5 years experience in technical leadership of pre-sales and/or implementation projects Enterprise solutions in software development SDLC and Project Management Methodologies Industry knowledge in the Software and Utilities domain Strong experience (5 years) in customer and industry operations A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best High levels of energy, sound judgment, and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency Great attention to detail with Can do attitude Relationship management and interpersonal skills An open-minded consultative approach Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions.
