  • Design, develop and maintain technology solutions
  • Working with project and business analyst leads to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements.
  • Using and improving the productivity of the development processes.
  • Working with architects, leads to estimate the level of effort.
  • Following IT coding standards
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications and providing fixes in a timely manner
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years in Android app development experience & Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Working experience with JSON and data via REST
  • Android SDK experience
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience in publishing an Android app on Google Play
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
