Job Description

  • TIBCO OI division is responsible for TIBCO s Log Management and Analytics products as well as TIBCO s Monitoring and Management products (TIBCO Hawk RedTail)
  • OI products are used extensively for centralized management of logs and Metric data to derive key intelligence from them for system and application monitoring, troubleshooting, compliance, auditing and alerting within Telcos, financial services firms and other industries where decisions must be made using massive volumes of log and metric data
  • The OI product line includes both agents to collect log and metric data from thousands of devices and enterprise applications to provide powerful insights into the whole infrastructure
What Youll Do
  • You will be responsible for the design and implementation of some of the product sub-systems
  • You will collaborate with the architects and engineering lead to drive the technical vision for the suite of product within the OI development team
  • You will be the technology expert for some of the core technologies used in our suite of products
  • You will work with product manager, support, and partners to design features
  • You will be the member of a global team
Who You Are
  • Core Java with multi-threading, Databases, Spring, REST Services is absolutely necessary
  • Knowledge/ experience of working on diverse programming languages like C/C++/ Go/ .Net/ Node.js/ Python is preferred
  • Hands-on programming and design of developing complex enterprise-grade software
  • Multi-tier systems - Networks, Databases, Spring/ Nodejs and a decent understanding of UX technologies, frontend technologies like Angular/ React is a plus
  • Proven experience of performance tuning, identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks
  • Experience working with microservices architecture, container environments e.g. Docker/ Kubernetes/ OpenShift etc would be a plus
  • Experience with working on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure would be a plus
  • Experience working in Agile mode, strong emphasis on Integration tests and CI/CD pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills: This role involves interacting with a diverse set of people: Developers (both backend and UX, junior and senior), Principal Architect, Product Manager, Program Manager, occasionally with Support
