Job Description

  • Thorough in technical assessment & key engineering deliverables of the process- Process mapping for sheet metal, like Side members, cross members, reinforcements, BIW parts, Metal Tubes and Pipes, CNG cylinders, Oils, grease, Paints.etc.
  • Part Development as per APQP process to meet QCD and project target.
  • The candidate must possess the techno-commercial exposure on above commodities. Must be hands on feasibility study, Technical synthesizing in order to facilitate pricing and Vendor on boarding decisions.
  • Must be an excellent individual contributors and can also be able to handle the small team (1 or 2) of direct reportees.
  • Development of parts wrt project gate ways need.
  • Hand on experience of inspection equipments & methodology.
  • Conduct PPAP at Supplier end and PPAP approval.
  • PPAP submission to QA for closure and handing over for regular supplies.
  • Coordinate activities between PM / PMH / PD /Mfg & Quality team, understand needs & Deliver parts as per project gate way deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel within or outof maharastra & india, minimum week per month.
  • Drawing study along with supplier for giving timely inputs to minimize design changes.
  • Build/validation concern closure through 07 QC tools.
  • Support suppliers for the development of parts and ensure QCD targets
  • Adherence to quality systems and comply with quality standards such as MQS, IATF, QS and maintaining exquisite documents.
  • Conduct Process audits at supplier.
  • Ensure development of KAIZEN Culture and continuous improvement through MGB and MYB Initiative.
  • Department MIS - upadate & Monitoring.
  • In-depth Knowledge sheetmetal parts processes, and through awareness of GD & T.

  • Knowledge about APQP, NPD,
  • GD&T, Drawing understanding, MS Office,
  • Proficency in problem solving tools.
  • Understanding of 8D, PPAP,
  • Knowledge about QMS process.
  • Ability to deal with supplier top management.
  • Willingness to travel.
