Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Industry know how-
- Knwledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, crude oils, base oils, paints, thinners etc.
- Industry study, Prduct study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Strategy recommendations and approval
Cost Management
- Knwledge of Paint & Oil formulations and technical details about the same
- Negtiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
Supplier Management -Onsite supplier assessments, identification of Gaps, action planning and monitoring
Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit

Critical Skills Sets (If any)

In-depth knowledge of Sourcing
Knowledge of Trims & plastics industry, mfg. processes
Knowledge of Supplier base about auto ancillaries in India
SOR study & technical analysis of SOR/PART/SYSTEMs
Quote synthesis & Supplier selection
Estimation as well as negotiation of part & tool cost (part, Dies & fixture)
Analytical & Problem-solving skills
Expert in SAP/MS office
Commodity knowledge, Technology trends, Industry knowledge, Supplier base, Commercial knowledge, Environmental Analysis
