Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1) Design and development of Steering and Front Axle aggregates for SCV platforms 2) Deliver Steering and Front Axle aggregates as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for projects 3) Resolve field / Mfg concerns 4) DFMEA, Design review, DVVP generation, analysis using G8D technique 5) Vehicles level and component level DVP requirements 6) Interact with CAE, CDMM, validation for aggregate development 7) Root cause analysis and concern resolution 8) Leading a team of people 9) Fully aware of Homologation requirements 10) Build technology roadmap on the above aggregates and execute potential ideasPlace of Posting: Chakan, PuneExperienceMinimum 10 YearsIndustry PreferredCommercial VehiclesQualificationsB.E. Or M.E./M. TechGeneral Requirements1. Ability to design complete Steering and Front Axle aggregates for Small Commercial Vehicle. 2. Good domain knowledge on design of different types of Steering System (HPAS & EPAS) for rigid and IFS Suspension system. 3. Good domain knowledge of design of Rigid Front Axle & Wheel End for Independent Front Suspension system. 4. Good knowledge of Ride and Handling, Vehicle dynamics and system level calculations 5. Failure analysis and problem solving 6. Sheet metal, castings & forging part design & manufacturing process knowledge. 7. SAM (Serviceability, Accessibility & Maintenance) knowledge 8.
