The role drives business value through technical innovation such as simplification, extensibility, supportability.Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Able to understand existing design and propose a design solution for the new modulesfeatures
• Develops and tests product code according to BMC quality standards.
• Able to solve a complex technical problem and drive technical solution with the team
• Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents.
• Performs thorough problem analysis that results in the resolution of product-related problems according to BMC support standards.
• Completes code and other deliverables on schedule - Performs thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product.
• The Developer will be working on BMC products by implementing a UI framework for the Platform.
• Responsibilities include both UI framework development primarily in Javascript, Angular, HTML5, and unit testing of all code developed.
• The candidate should be well versed with karma and jasmine to write units for the code being developed.
• Candidate should strong knowledge of Java and related backend technology framework
• The candidate should have hands-on experience and should be an expert in AngularJS.
• The candidate will also work with tools such as Eclipse; Ant, JUnit, Perforce.
• Should knowledge of microservice development and deployment using K8s
• Knowledge of DevOps tools e.g Jenkins for CI/CD, Helm charts, etc will be added advantage
• Knowledge of ML techniques and technologies will be an added advantage
• The candidate will also work in an environment that supports RDMS Databases like SQL Server, Oracle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience of developing an enterprise-class product
• 4+ Years of experience of leading technical team from a technology perspective
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in J2EE and related framework
• Experience in developing Web-based Enterprise Application
• Experience in developing microservice using JAVA
• Experience in a fast-paced, distributed and agile development environment
• Hands-on Experience with javascript, JQuery, CSS, Angular
• Team player having good communication skills
