Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks
    • Document stocks delivery and supervise their movement into operational processing or position
    • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
    • Submitting purchase & receiving details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) to internal databases.
    • Placing orders to replenish branches as needed.
    • Track shipments and address any delays to all branches.
    • Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items.
    • Coordinate and assist in regular inventory audits in all Branches.
    • Liaise with warehouse staff and all branches to check products quality (status upon delivery and receiving details)
    • Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments)
    • Ensure purchases do not exceed budget.
    • Maintaining the liquid cash as per the requirement.
    • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
    • Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyse data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment
    • Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfilment
    • Track rates of accuracy, purchase, and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
    • Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
    • Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed in the branches.
