Job Description

    The Cyber Security Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all information and data on computer systems and network devices is protected and all networks and computer systems are adequately secure to prevent unauthorized access, investigates security alerts and recommend corrective actions to resolve and/or prevent reoccurrences.Key Duties / ResponsibilitiesMonitor and investigate cybersecurity incidents.Analyze security incidents to identify the root cause, and documentContinuously updating the companys incident response and disaster recovery plansWork with the security team to perform tests and uncover network and other cybersecurity vulnerabilities.Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.Design, develop, implement, and maintain host and endpoint security solutions with guidance from architecture, compliance, Information Security, and other teamsWorks closely with the IT Security and Compliance team towards the implementation and maintenance of all data security-related infrastructure and policyAssist in analyzing and defining security requirementsKnowledge, Skills and Experience2+ years of information security experienceKnowledge of Microsoft ecosystem and security toolsKnowledge of SIEMExcellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasksSelf-motivated and ability to work with teamPosition-Specific Technical RequirementsKnowledge of Windows and Linux server administration and internal OS processesExperience with incident response diagnostics, memory and file analysis and the development of threat assessment profilesProficiency with anti-virus tools - Crowdstrike, Symantec, Microsoft DefenderProficiency with log analysis software, SIEM Splunk, QRadarProficiency with DLP tools Symantec, ZscalerProgramming or scripting knowledge will be an added advantage.Education and CertificationsBachelors degree in Information Technology or a related disciplineSANS and CISSP accreditations highly desirable,
