Dear Candidate,We are hiring Guest Relation Specialist (Asst FOM) at The Machan Resorts LLP (Lonavala)POSITION TITLE : GUEST RELATION SPECIALIST - AssistantFOMREPORTS TO : GUEST SERVICE SPECIALIST - F.O.MPOSITION SUMMARY:Function as Guest Relation Specialist (GRS) at Front Office is to ensure smooth operations of frontdesk at The Machan as per the SOPS.To act as a single point of contact to facilitate to all needs of the resident guests.Attend to guests courteously and deal promptly with their requests and queries. Have detailedinformation about the resort and place nearby.Regular check with Guest on their experience during Lunch, Tea Time, Nature Trail and Dinner Time.Collect guest feedback forms and do any possible first hand service recovery steps.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome guests during check-in and giving a found farewell to guest while checkout. Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay ordiscomfort to any guest. Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner. Overseeing VIP guests, arrivals and departures. Ensure that all rooms are pre-blockedaccordingly for arrival and housekeeping is informed Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment. Providing information regarding the Resort, town attractions, activities etc. Maintain all guest folios in the manner instructed and type out necessary guest likes anddislikes to the appropriate fields on the profile. To ensure reception is manned within the operational hours Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering Department to ensure that rooms areblocked accordingly for maintenance and all job orders are closed. Handling Front Desk team. To maintain high levels of self-discipline in the area of work. To ensure privacy and security to all guests staying in the hotel. To keep strong vigil andreport any acts of suspicion or illegal acts to Security Officer and/or GM and Manager onDuty. To be responsible for maintaining day book and record of the imprest amount at front office. To be responsible for functioning of all equipment in the front office and report anymalfunction. Follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management. Consciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledge. Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal Must possess strong organization time management skills, attention to detail. Must be guest service focused and a team player. Positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential. Must be able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Professional in demeanor and presentation. Personable, enthusiastic,self-motivated and able to work independently. Observant, discriminating and detail-oriented Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarificationwhen needed.PREREQUISITES:Good guest interaction skills.Good listening skills.Sound decision making.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Leadership/People management.Will Versed on MS Office.EDUCATION:HM Degree / DiplomaEXPERIENCE:5 Yrs of Front Office & Guest Relation experience.Minimum of one year of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash,accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks, Additional languages spoken would be anasset.
