Description
In this position you will be in charge of managing, prioritizing and executing on the day-to-day tasks to achieve product development objectives. You will have ownership over the coordinating production, quality activities . You will be also owner for special projects related product testing and assembly.
You will be an important part of the team where you will help set up and develop efficient processes for managing production, quality and special projects.
This role is an essential part of our vision to bring high-quality, appropriate, and ultra-low-cost agricultural products to marginal farmers in east India and across the developing world.
In this position, you will work closely with the Product manager, Mechanical Engineer, CEO COO on making product development decisions.
You will work with suppliers to ensure quality checks. You will also develop new quality control mechanisms. Key parts of the role include setting up systematic documentation and processes, working with suppliers to get production parts or prototypes ready and developing new ideas to improve products and processes.
You will work with the Senior Mechanical Designer to execute the necessary design testing tasks to take the products from prototypes through to reliable products.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma in Production/Mechanical with 3-4 year of industry experience, or BE/B.Tech in Production/Mechanical with 1-2 years industry experience
Skills: Knowledge of various manufacturing processes Knowledge of mechanical design Knowledge of basics of tolerance and stackup systems Knowledge of basic electrical Fluent written and communication skills in English Fluent in using MS-Excel, MS-Word Fluent in using MS-Excel, MS-Word
