The purpose of this position is to manage key resourcing and VAVE projects initiated by SCM and/or Engineering. This position will be expected to collaborate and communicate with various global stakeholders including but not limited to Global Procurement Organization, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering etc. This position will play a lead role in scoping, definition, coordination and execution of cost reduction efforts via resourcing, VAVE, standardization and supporting second source and supplier consolidation initiatives across multiple commodities and business units. Your essential responsibilities:1. Develop, plan, monitor and execute direct material cost out projects for Engineering and SCM Collaboration Projects. 2. Manage the program/project, provide technical guidance and mentoring as necessary 3. Establish & maintain a strong knowledge management database which can be leveraged for Sourcing decisions. 4. Support new projects in program management through data analysis, coordinating user technical reviews, request for proposal process with external suppliers, APQP, and gate reviews. 5. Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely value capture in Cost Out Database (CODB) tool 6. Support teams with project management tools and techniques. Give proactive alerts to program manager and project team for Critical Paths and risk mitigation 7. Establish robust capability monitoring mechanism for all the critical process and product parameters. 8. Participate in risks assessment and risk management along with the project teams comprising global SCM leaders and commodity managers 9. Lead governance meetings with internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance to SLAs & enhance customer satisfaction 10. Ensure projects meet their financial & operational goals (KPIs) viz cost out, cost avoidance, productivity gain and on time & accurate deliveries. 11. Help keep commodity strategies aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors. Build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to the commodity strategies. 12. Manage the supplier quality interface (APQP) to ensure that PPAP requirements are understood and met, including assisting in issue resolution for components identified as high risk. Interface with suppliers, product engineering, and the Eaton plant to drive on-time project completion. Work projects through ramp up and successful launch. 13. Collaborate with Engineering on all the opportunities 14. Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton s Code of Conduct. 15. Coordinate the exchange of technical information regarding product and product processing with adequate safeguards for confidentiality in compliance with Eaton Data Management policiesQualificationsIf you are:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferably Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Project management certification preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum 8-10 years experience as Project Manager
• Project Management Experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Micro Soft Project)
• Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person, via e-mail and over phone
• Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics
• Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from associates to the leadership team.
• Quick response to deadlines
• Reporting and Analytics Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project team
