Job Description

Job Profile / Specific desirable experiences/Preferred knowledge areas:

  1. Knowledge of vehicle aggregates in Automotive, Tractor, Truck, Bus.
  2. Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for various commodity components.
  3. Cost Estimation of parts from SOR/drawing.
  4. Knowledge of various material grades and processes.
  5. Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.
  6. Vehicle level systems Overall knowledge.
  7. Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements idea generation.
  8. Knowledge of Most technique,Component Cost Benchmarking, VAVE, Target Costing / Business perspective.
  9. Working knowledge & experience of monitoring projects.
  10. Coordination with various agencies (Design/R&D/Product Planning / Sourcing)
  11. Standiazation of child parts.
  12. Working on Microsoft office. (MS Excel, word, Power point presentation etc)

Educational Qualification Desired:B.E.(Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production)Experience: 8 to 12 Years of relevant experience in the functions like part development, manufacturing and sourcing of parts.Critical Skills Sets (If any)
  • Knowledge of components of Auto, Tractor, Truck & Bus.
  • Knowledge of commodity related processes.
  • CFT working
  • Understanding of commercials & broad level business practices.
  • Cost Estimation based on component drawing
