Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Network Security EngineerWe are looking for someone who will be responsible for network designing, implementing and troubleshooting; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.Responsibilities

  • Interaction frequently with support teams Application, Database, Storage, System - to provide seamless network operations
  • Handling Corporate LAN / WAN networks with heterogeneous devices
  • Should have worked in an end-to-end implementation of a Corporate Network
  • Network Design, Deployment, Troubleshooting, Hardening, log analysis and Performance tuning experience
  • Proficiency in Network Tools such as Solar winds, Wireshark and so on
  • WAN optimization understanding and Cache understanding (like Riverbed)
  • Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network
  • Conduct network studies and performance analysis and recommend changes.
  • Good at documenting architectures for network applications.
  • Ability to mentor members of the team.
  • Participate in team while incident handling and preparing RCA.
  • Network Inventory management.
  • Participate in new projects.
  • Work in ticket system for business user requirements, Siebel or Remedy experience added advantage
  • Daily, weekly and monthly network reports
  • Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
Essential Skills
  • Palo Alto Firewall Training, PCNSE Training or Certification is must
  • Strong in Network Security fundamentals and concepts on Network Security on Firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewall/Juniper/Checkpoint/Cisco/Net Screen/Fortinet
  • VPN Technologies (IPsec, SSL) TCP/IP networking Authentication, authorization, encryption mechanisms (LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, PKI, SSL, SSH Certified).
  • Should have experience in managing networks for a highly virtualized datacenter environment supporting system teams.
  • Cisco ASA Backup, IOS Maintenance, Packet capture and log analysis.
  • Knowledge of cisco hardware (Switches, routers and wireless)
  • Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and IPS.
  • WAN link Troubleshooting with ISPs
  • Knowledge in Load Balancers like Cisco ACE, Net scalar or F5.
  • Good communication, analytical, teamwork and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude. Willingness to work in shifts, weekend on call support, off duty hours as and when required.
