Job Description

About Role:

Vendor on boarding and compliance

  • a) Vendor negotiation and code creation
  • b) Ensure the fulfilment of all legal compliance and documentation from vendor
  • C) Coordinating with category manager, warehouse team, transporters and Finance Legal team to resolve vendor process-related issues
  • d) Preparing system reports in MS Excel
  • e) Prepare vendor performance reports in MS Excel

Assist Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition Vegetable Seed category

  • a) Check on the system for the stock for all products and update on stock out situations at FC and Store level.
  • b) Reconcile inventory w.r.t. system and highlight needful correction. Keep inventory at optimum level.
  • c) Daily check on product movement from the system and streamline inventory planning to fulfil orders by coordinating with concerned stakeholders.

Purchase Order

  • a) Create new purchase order as per specification and booked order
  • b) Update system for stock replenishment and raise PO to fill the gap of demand V/s Supply
  • c) Close all aging open POs
  • d) Coordinate with vendors FC team for order status, dispatch and inward.

Follow up

  • a) Following up vendors for documentation stock updates
  • b) Coordinate with the FC Store team on stock receivable and tracking of all dispatch.
  • c) Follow up with the Sales Team (ACC, App and Store) on the order status of stock in the system.

This role will be based out of Pune.

As an ideal Agstar Purchase Executive, you will need:

  • Graduate from a reputed institute with hands on experience of working in an organization.
  • Agri Input Industry experience will be a plus.
  • 2 - 5 years- experience in Supply chain operations, purchase or warehouse management will be preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Results oriented and self-motivated.
  • Team player and good communication skill to work with team members across functions
  • Strong work ethics
  • Open for moderate travel
