Job Description

    This role will report to MSS COE India Leader - Engineering &Execution Support, with a dotted line reporting to VP & GM, Lifecycle Service & Engineered Solutions.Key Responsibilities for this position: Make supply chain strategies by developing and managing the supply base for a global Measurement Solutions Systems and Service Business. Monitor cost reduction/avoidance actions rolled out across all WAs, track these programs within the Emerson inflation model, and update at Management and other planning sessions. Establish good working relationships with Suppliers across all WA and establish engagement model and long-term purchasing agreements for global adoption. Established Key Performance Indicator for global team, define work processes and monitor effectiveness for the same. Responsible to lead the overall procurement plan for CoE Pune Hub and support other functions to build visibility on procurement expectations. Establish global communication model and develop. dashboards to represent effectiveness of various decisions. Develop global spend management strategies for major spend items and lead monthly procurement meetings and establish monthly spend data consistently. Assist in preparing and participating in Commodity and Financial Reviews as it pertains to the Systems business. Responsible to develop and monitor SC dashboards to represent effectiveness and drive actions of improvementDesired Educational Qualification: Minimum Qualification B.E. Years of experience 18-20 years Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)preferredTechnical Skills / Knowledge Required: Outstanding project management skills. Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with suppliers in othercountries. Strong presentation skills must be comfortable and competent at presenting technical information. Potential for advancing career one or two levels higher. Organizational and teaming skills to lead purchasing efforts,
