Job Description

Description We are seeking a talented and dynamic design leader for the role of Associate (Corporate Interiors) for our key client; one of the leading Architecture and design firms in India.Are you excited about reshaping the future of design, creating exceptional spaces for the best brands Are you passionate about design and driven by the highest level of design excellence Do you work well in a studio environment which is dynamic Do you treasure team work and know how to motivate a team to action Are you client focused and passionate about creating the best design solutions for them If you can say yes to the above, we may have a career opportunity for youSpecific responsibilities: Project Designing, Planning &Delivery: - Design working along with the Associate Director & Associate Design Lead to develop concept/ Plans for all projects. Liaise with the clients to understand their requirements and ensure the delivery of the design in- line with the requirements Work on strategizing design solutions to fit assigned programs and budgets. Work on multiple projects and provide pre- design services which may include conducting feasibility studies or specifying the requirements the design must meet. Work closely with the design team and manage the development of design successfully from one phase to the next, without compromise to quality, budget, or schedule. Lead and participate in project meetings and Client presentations as needed & working closely with the team and be responsible for design management and coordination with project stakeholders as needed. Ensure that the project complies with all legal requirements and all other specified parameters Prepare and make project- related presentations to clients. Schedule & coordinate meetings, publish meeting agendas, capture and publish minutes of meeting to keep track of requirements, grievances and feedback Understand, implement and follow relevant methodology, processes and standards to ensure that all project team members understand and follow them. Ensure invoices are raised on- time and outstanding are collected as per the terms agreed with the client. Maintain a detailed project plan with clear cut milestones and associated resources requirements for every project. Plan, in conjunction with Design Director, Design Lead, resource allocation and management to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Design & Build Projects: The associate will have the ownership of the D&B Projects at all levels to its completion. To assist various aspects of Sales process from lead generation, presales, account management, post sales support and collection by making use of the industry experience and knowledge Drawings, Designs & Documentation:- Ensure complete ownership of BOQ, Specification & GFC drawings that are delivered to the site. Provide necessary inputs in the development & detailing of designs as and when required and review drawings made by team members to ensure they are of required quality Ensure drawings for D&B projects are in line with internal procurement team. Provide necessary inputs in the development & detailing of designs as and when required. Maintain project documentation as required to ensure a record of revisions issued thereby maintaining a log for change management Co- ordination and Site Supervision:- Coordination and Interaction with Clients, Directors, Design Leads, Team Members, Consultants, Municipal authorities, Service Consultants / Partners, Project Team, Design Team, Architect Team & Technical Staff Liaison for Completion Certificates: - Liaison with certificate bodies to obtain required certificates for proper completion of project and coordinate with architect and structural engineers. People Development & Team handling: - Ensure development needs of Team Members are identified and the needs are appropriately met through training/ other means. Ensure development of the studio for adopting to new presentation techniques by use of new software adoption and implementation. Communication (External & Internal):- Provide periodic updates of all aspects of the projects on the status of the project as per the milestones agreed. Provide regular updates to Billing & Accounts on invoicing and projection of projects billing cycle. Key requirements to succeed Interior Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience Relevant experience of working on Corporate Interiors/ Workplace design projects & managing a team Strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution. Multi- tasking ability, with time management and organisational skills. Registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture Excellent knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop,
