Job Description

  • Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and other model settings to meet business requirements
  • Identify requirements for the design and build of, establish, and govern a best practices in model building and share them across global and regional Business Finance teams
  • Perform extract, transform, and load (ETL) between Red Hat s specific datasets and Anaplan; monitor data flows to and from the Anaplan platform to ensure that all data is up to date and accurate
  • Apply your knowledge of data preparation activities like extraction, cleansing, aggregation, and data analysis
  • Work on ad hoc reporting requests, maintain data quality of production and ad hoc reports, and work on break-fixes and enhancement requests
  • Develop documentation for the delivered solutions, assist in all phases of testing, and provide practical training to end users on Anaplan models
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members across locations to accomplish project goals
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication, presentation, and articulation skills
Required skills
  • 3+ years of experience working on Anaplan, Certified Anaplan Model Builder (L1, L2, and L3), proficiency in writing Anaplan logics, and overall knowledge of database concepts
  • Experience participating in agile, waterfall, and scrum sessions
  • Prior experience working with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), sales, business consulting, or marketing organizations; internship within one of these organizations will also be considered
  • Knowledgeable in programming, scripting, or writing database SQL code
  • Willingness to consistently work extended hours during periods of high demand; working on weekends may be involved
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to think through issues and problems in a logical manner; ability to collaborate with managers and executives to compile detailed booking forecasts, sales metrics, and economic model
