Job Description

    ICTO - Job DescriptionThe iCTO is accountable as the strategy developer and owner of all aspects of infrastructure operations and application support for their assigned business segment. This position will work closely with ICTO and support the complete set of infrastructure solutions and operations for all functional groups supporting their applications and services. The individual is also responsible for understanding the business, assist and advise on the prioritization of projects, and help drive IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. This role requires infrastructure engineering and operations, project management/ DevOps, strong data analytics, visualization and reporting skills.Specific areas of responsibility include:
    • Support in driving transformational improvements to the SDLC (e.g. Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
    • Monitor Application support provided by the business /application owners / third party for the business aligned to
      • 24x7 Production Availability/Stability Support Issues
      • Change Request (CR) Execution and Validation for Infrastructure CRs
      • Support Infrastructure Environment Hygiene Initiatives
      • Operationalization documentation, DR/BCP exercises, alerting/monitoring, automation
      • Provide Operational and Infrastructure expertise to the development process
      • Manage application profiling data for performance and capacity
      • Ensuring application software versions are up to date
    • Prioritization, coordination, and flawless implementation of all business and technology projects.
    • Ops & Infra expertise to App dev, App profiling for performance and capacity needs, ensure currency.
    • Works collaboratively with global technology functions to deliver technology standards across the regions and maintains adherence to corporate policies.
    • Provide input on budget requirements for areas of responsibility.
    • Aligns implementations across the global team, ensuring budgets are maintained and resources are allocated effectively.
    • Accountable for personally driving defined transformation programs to reduce cost, improve efficiency, increase availability, and improve overall quality of service delivery.
    • Accountable for the adherence to all compliance processes and ITIL controls.
    • Direct Business Support responsibilities such as
      • Ensure application inventory is accurate and complete
      • Ongoing review of CMDB and App Map Completeness Power BI Dashboard
      • Ongoing review of CMDB Health & Completeness Dashboard
      • Clean up any orphan servers, orphan application services and field completeness
      • Apply updates in Service Point CMDB
      • Ensure DR/BCP updates to application inventory are accurate and complete
      • Ensure remediation plans are established for open critical and high infrastructure vulnerabilities
      • Ensure Tech Refresh projects are established and executed for existing EOL/EOS systems
      • Monitor service request queue, review, approve and make required changes as needed in Application Inventory
      • New add / retire existing Business Application and Application Service
      • Update existing Server CI relationships for supported applications
    • Manage and report the financials tied to the infrastructure and human capital to support the business.
    • Strong reporting, data analytics, PMO / Governance, data visualization, impactful presentation and MIS reporting skills.
    • Strong business operations management relationship management skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization influencing beyond the current group.
    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    • Bachelor s/Master s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Expert knowledge of IT functions, infrastructure engineering, Agile/DevOps
    • Has strong expertise in data driven management and setting up governance & reporting.
    • Effective data visualization, automation (Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, PowerApps)
    • Effectively able to communicate with all levels of the organization across the globe.
    • Possesses strong knowledge of emerging technology and the application of the technology in global environments
    • Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and even turbulent environment.
    • Comfortable with the context and content of the Payments industry and IT Infrastructure spaces.
    • Understanding of ITIL Frameworks and major security frameworks such as NIST.
    • Experience in the Financial Services, Payments industry, and/or high-transaction processors.
    • Has expert knowledge of business operations, policies, and practices and of the industry supported.
    • Knowledgeable of current and emerging IT standards and practices. Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills. Has successfully coordinated and implemented numerous large and complex engagements globally and can manage multiple, global projects simultaneously.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    Experience:
    • 12-15 years of related technical and business experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing PMO by establishing data collection, management and presentation.
    • Prioritization of projects in an agile environment and liaising with stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.
    • Demonstrated experience in executing compliance and security requirements to the highest industry standards, as well as execution of disaster recovery strategy.
