HS3C Shared Services is looking for an ACES Manager to join its new Compliance ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) organization that will design standardized business workflows with mechanisms to sustain these across all compliance programs WW. Compliance Shared Services team provides high quality operational, reporting, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), and training services for the programs and program teams within HSSSC. The Shared Services is comprised of the Compliance Operations (C-Ops), ACES, Data Analytics (DA), Training, and the C-Ops Tech teams. The Shared Services is responsible for:(1) Executing and implementing processes and transactional tasks required to support the HS3C programs,(2) Developing processes and process improvement strategies that improve the overall quality and efficiency of its operations,(3) Providing feedback to program teams and supporting tech teams regarding systemic improvement opportunities and(4) Ensuring that the operations are standardized across all nodes.ACES combines Amazon values and technology with the best of lean management and six sigma to achieve operations excellence. The team will build systems that implement standard processes across all product lines, while having functionality and flexibility to support the marketplace s unique requirements. This position provides the rare opportunity to join a newly created startup team in Amazon.The ACES Manager will play a critical role in the development and application of ACES in our worldwide compliance, technology and operations teams. We are seeking an individual who utilizes Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement methodologies to engage teams to solve customer problems by streamlining processes and improving quality. You will drive speed, quality, and simplification throughout by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work/hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variance through standardization and automation. You will execute these priorities through ACES initiatives, Kaizen events, and supporting critical programs and projects.Your role will be to lead critical projects that remove waste from our business processes and improve the link between the technology teams and the user community. You will diagnose Amazon processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies and guide the improvement effort. You will be responsible for leading and driving process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design/ redesign (long-term wins) efforts and maintaining close relationships with our internal stakeholders in order to understand our highest priority execution pain-points and opportunities, which you will translate into ACES initiatives that improve processes, tools, and team capabilities. You will be a caretaker for global best practice documentation and will facilitate sharing across the globe. Considerable judgment is necessary because you will be motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment where explosive growth is occurring while achieving impeccable quality.,BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
