Job Description

  • Knowledge of factory ACT 1948, Environment protection act 1986,Water [Prevention & control of Pollution] Act 1974 as per Section 25/26 ,Air [Prevention & control of Pollution] Act -1981. as per Section 21
  • Selection,Maintenance, Refilling & Testing of Extinguisher
  • Testing of plant machinery and equipments as per factory act 1948
  • Battery (Management & Handling) Rules ,2001, Sbumission of half yearlybattery return to MPPCB
  • Obtain Authorization for handling & storage of Hazardous waste from state pollution control board and renew before the date of expiry.
  • Safety Celebration - Promotional & motivational safety awareness activities
  • Accident Investigation-Reportable/Non reportable/ First aid / Near miss / Fire etc.
  • Plant Safety committee meeting, Every quarter meeting is being conducted with the identified equal workmen & managemnet representative team & plant safety progress is being reviwed & any issue is discussed for safe & corrective action accordingly.
  • Emergency Mock drill,Corrective action taken at the site of emergency by the emergrncy group identified like - Fire team, Medical team, Rescue team, Administrative team & Safety team.
  • Environment compliance-Hazardous waste disposal - 1. Paint Sludge 2. Phosphate sludge 3. ETP sludge 4. Oil contaminated sludge & filters 5. Used Oil 6. Waste residue containing oil 7. Discarded containers 8. E-waste 9. Bio Medical waste
  • Safety work permit - Tool Box talk,Walk thrrough survey/patrol round,Safety Awareness training
  • EHSMS (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001) Certification and interal and ecteral audit plan , HIRA, ASPECT/IMPACT
Job Requirements Experience:5-7 yrs working in automotive industryIndustry Preferred: Automotive ManufacturingPersonality Traits Competencies:
  • Sound Knowledge of Industrial Safety and fire technology
  • Experience in Testing of plant equipments , tools and tackles as per factory act.
  • Knowledge of Advanced technologies in Engine Assembly & Testing
  • Knowledge & experience in Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Low cost Automation methoddology
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015, OSHAS 18001
