Job Description

Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements., Job Responsibilities:Strategic Designer/ Design StrategistExperience : 6+ yearsJob Summary:We are currently seeking a Design Strategist role for the India Design Studio. As a Strategic Designer he/she will closely work with customers, UX researchers, UX designer, analysts, and various other stakeholders. He/she will be largely responsible for requirement understanding, design workshops, ways of working, collaboration to carve out differentiators and improve the product design experience.Overall, a Strategic Designer will be responsible for creating UX strategies for customers in order to assist them in achieving their business objectives and current/future vision for the product or service.Should have a portfolio that displays in-depth strategic planning for product design and operational methods.
    • Customer Interface and lead throughout the design process and product lifecycle.
    • Helps define the UX vision and value propositions based on the product vision and goals.
    • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the customer requirement, develop an intimate understanding and convert insights into design opportunities and UX differentiators.
    • Use the Design Thinking approach and strategic management to envision comprehensive innovation roadmaps for a better product design.
    • Collaborate and work effectively with various stakeholders and teams to achieve a balance between business strategy, design and user needs.
    • Plan and implement design research activities to define current state customer pain points and map ideal future experiences.
    • Focus on quality and consistency throughout the product design and strengthen documentation.
    • Plan and work dedicatedly towards user and usability testing.
    • Based on extensive research and insights, provide a better design process and ways of working.
    • Create and present to stakeholders and customers strategic presentations that are consistent with the product vision and aid in design decisions.
    Education and Qualification:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Strategic Designer and substantial experience in the IT industry.
    • Graduate degree in Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction preferred, or comparable work experience.
    • An excellent detailed portfolio through an online showcase.
    • Knowledge of Product Design, Design Thinking and Usability Principles is a must.
    • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
    • Technically proficient with Design Research methods, techniques and tools.
    • Proficient in quick prototyping.
