Job Description

    We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Engineering (Automation Testing) team in Clarivate. This is an amazing opportunity to work on various Clarivate products and services which could include automation, performance, manual and security aspects of testing.We have a great skill set in Test Automation using Selenium with Java and Python, Performance Engineering using Jmeter, API Testing, Security Testing, Devops, BrowserStack, Cypress, Docker, AWS/Azure, PACT and many other latest technologies. You will get the opportunity to work in a cross-cultural work environment while working on the latest web technologies.So, if you are you passionate about people and technology, have the curiosity and drive to take on new possibilities, then come & join us!About You (Skills & Qualification Required)Bachelors degree in Engineering or masters degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)6-10 years of experience in software automation and test frameworksStrong coding & debugging skills in Selenium binding with JavaExperience in version control system Git or bitbucket.Understanding of test automation frameworks & assisting/reviewing script creationGood programming skills in various language like Java, Python or .NetFamiliarity with tools like Cucumber, Rest Assured and TestNG framework.Familiarity of testing pyramid, understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of testingFamiliarity and clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approachesFamiliarity of working with test and defect management tools like JIRA and confluenceIt would be great if you also haveUnderstanding of open-source tools would be an advantageGood working experience with GIT.Working familiarity with cloud tools like AWSStrong experience of performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Netload, JMeter or LoadRunner) along with very good understanding of browser-side performance testing tools and analyzing skills, understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity and Azure DevOpsDemonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwideGood written & verbal communication skillsGood Analytical & Effective interpersonal skillsWhat will you be doing in this role This is hands on role with skill sets in automation & performance engineeringBe prepared to evaluate, learn and use new toolsWork with team members in a supportive way which encourages team building and confidence with individual membersWork accurately sometimes even under pressure & delivering as per the expectationsPrioritizing individual & teams workload,
