Job Description

NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd is looking for energetic, high-performing and highly skilled Project Manager to plan, lead and manage the successful delivery of Data Center Transformation and Consolidation activities. He/She needs to be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, familiar with governing disruptive technologies, managing multiple vendors, contractors and technology disciplines, while communicating to both business and technology resources of our AI Platform BU.This BU is responsible within NEC Corporation for Big Data and Analytics, HPC, DC-DR, Cloud technologies and solutions delivery including Data Center, High Performance Computing, big data management, Cloud based solutions leveraging transformational technologies for our customers from different industries.Job Location: NOIDATotal Experience: 10-12 yearsRelevant Experience: 4+ yearsQualifications: Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related fieldTotal 10+ years of industry experience, should include at least 4+ years of experience in Project Management. Should have in depth knowledge and working experience on data center & cloud platform related technologies. Working knowledge on technical proposal creation, responding to RFP/RFI/EOI.Skills Required:Essentials:

  • Strong client facing skills and an acute understanding of consulting.
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans while adhering to Data Center Operations project methodology
  • Data center consolidation, virtualization project consolidating multiple global DCs to Single/ Dual DC
  • Ensure that projects meet timeline and budget requirements
  • Analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Desirable/ Good to have:
  • Server: HPE, Dell, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux KVM, Citrix Xen
  • Storage & Backup: Dell-EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, NetBackup, Symantec, IBM Tivoli, EMC Networker
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu etc.
  • Cloud Technologies: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM ICP etc.
  • Data Center Technologies: Rack, DC- Active, DC-Passive, Power, UPS, Cooling etc.
