Job Description

    Data Scientist (Project role) Provide technical and management support in application of data scienceto create social impact, through the use of big data and predictive analytics(e.g. data mining, machine learning, predictive modelling). Convert raw data into information & Insights, which can be used to makedecisions. Contribute to the development and testing of novel methods to improve therigor and/or efficiency of the analysis. Ability to simplify the research outcomes and explain data/findings throughstorytelling to serve a diverse set of audience. Lead & support the design, implementation, review , oversight and qualityassurance of social sector data. Statistical analysis and data mining using state-of-the-art methods Run an ETL process, so a processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity ofdata used for analysis Natural Language Processing (NLP), ETL (Extract Transform, Load) pipeline fordatabase management.Data mining techniques, statistical analysis and design/implementation ofdescriptive analytics Run scripts to automate data input preparation, process implementation andstructure output format. Conduct data analysis and package results tailored for both technical andnon-technical audience Communicate effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in writing,analytical results to internal and external stakeholders Feed visualization products to share analysis across a large group of users. Developing Dashboards and plan & manage the entire data lifecycle. Develop, lead and implement data strategies. Employing AI/ML and deep learning to create social impact.
