Job Description

The role will require a team player as Cyber Security Analyst to advise developers on vulnerabilities those are encountered and suggest course of action to address those risks. The candidate will also need to have a broad understanding of the risks as they will need to train and educate staff to adopt secure coding and risk management practices. This could address personnel at different levels; from entry-level personnel, to IT staff, through to senior managers.

The candidate will need to be a good communicator and having experience in reporting and creating management dashboards in Veracode, CheckMarx, AppScan, Sonarqube etc is preferred as they will need to address personnel at all levels.

Business competencies

  • Must have attained a Bachelor s Degree in computer science or related IT field
  • Must have attained 4-7 years of experience working as a Security Analyst within ApplicationNetwork Security, SAST, DAST
  • Managing Application dynamic penetration testing
  • Working with Applicationsystem owners to deliver audit results recommendations around fixing the pen-test findings
  • Working closely with GlobalRegional Application Security team
  • Improving the Application Security assessment program
  • Following up with the stakeholdersbusiness for remediation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Must be proficient in information security tools, techniques and methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is expected
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration best practices
  • Experience with vulnerability and penetration testing techniques and tools is preferable
  • Holding one or more security-related certifications such as OSCE, OSCP, CeH, COMPTIA+ will be added advantage
  • Should be willing to work in a global environment
  • Should be willing to work extended hours or modified schedule to meet deadlines.
