The development engineer will be part of a teamworking on development of the InDesign product in our creative suite ofproducts. She/he will be responsible for development of new features andmaintenance of existing features and will be responsible for all phases ofdevelopment, from early specs and definition to release. She/he is expected tobe hands-on problem solver and well conversant in analyzing, architecting andimplementing C/C++ based world class high quality software.ResponsibilitiesHe would contribute extensively in analysis, designand programming for major and dot software releases.He would be from time to time required to interfacewith product management to evaluate and determine new features to be added.Should be a proactive self-starter who can developmethods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.He would be an expert on one or more platforms andknowledgeable of cross-platform issues, competitive products, and customerrequirements. He would contribute significantly towards the development andapplication of advanced concepts, technologies and expertise within the team.RequirementsB.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineeringfrom a premier institute.1 to 4 years of hands on design / developmentexperience.Proficient in C/C++ assembly, data structure andalgorithm.Good understanding of object oriented design andknowledge of product life cycles and associated issues.Knowledge of application development on multipleplatforms including various flavors of Windows and Macintosh.Should have excellent computer science fundamentalsand a good understanding of architecture, design and performance.Good understanding of object oriented design andknowledge of product life cycles and associated issues.Must have excellent written and verbal communicationskills.Must be familiar with working in a fast paced globalenvironment.,
