Job Description

    Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with a background in design who has transitioned into the field of recruiting. As a Designer Turned Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top design talent for our organization. Your unique insight into the design industry and your passion for people will be essential in building a talented and diverse team that will drive the success of our company.Responsibilities: Talent Sourcing: Leverage your network and expertise in the design industry to identify and connect with potential candidates. Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events. Candidate Screening: Review and evaluate incoming applications and portfolios to shortlist candidates who possess the necessary skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization. Interviewing: Conduct effective and insightful interviews to assess. candidates design capabilities, problem-solving skills, and overall fit with our companys values and vision. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide prompt and constructive feedback to candidates, keeping them informed of their status. Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to develop and implement strategies for promoting the company as an employer of choice in the design industry. Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize the hiring process and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and enhance recruitment strategies. Collaborative Partnerships: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their specific hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with the organizations objectives. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the design and recruitment industries. Apply this knowledge to improve sourcing strategies and attract top talent. Onboarding Support: Work with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new design hires, facilitating their integration into the company culture.Qualifications: Proven experience in the design industry, either as a designer or related role. Previous experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on creative or design positions, is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and engage with candidates effectively. A keen eye for design talent, recognizing potential and matching candidates to suitable roles. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Knowledge of current design software, tools, and trends is a plus. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software is an advantage.
