Job Description

1. Spearhead responsibility for managing the gamut of operations pertaining to Transport &Logistics2. Planning of cargo arrival and stuffing3. Good relationships with shipping lines with sound knowledge on shipping line routings, transit times &freight economics for arriving at competitive buy rates4. Coordination with Shipping Lines for Bookings, Price Negotiation and Well versed with negotiating ofocean freight rate with sound commercial acumen in relating to ocean export shipment cycle.5. Communication with Shipper, Principal Office, Consignee, Shipping line, Buying House etc.6. Booking with freight forwarding agents7. Complete knowledge of standard Indian customs procedures for ocean exports along with shippingprocedures8. Operation planning to execute the shipments within the stipulated time period as per the customerrequirement9. Transport Co-ordination Pickup & Operational Activities10. Manage transportation operation in a consistent manner , as per corporate strategic requirements11. Supervising Customs Clearance & Documentation activities12. Loading cargo13. Transit tracking14. To fulfill timely customers logistics and co-ordinate regarding the cargo till it reaches the destinationContinuous update to clients
