Our strong suite of products includes the Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Haagen-Dazs and Nature Valley brands in both direct-to-consumer and B2B channels across Retail, Food Service and Bakeries & Exports. We combine the capabilities of a global enterprise with the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural awareness you would expect of a smaller local company.POSITION TITLE : Maintenance Lead, Nashik Plant REPORTS TO : Plant Technical Manager Nashik Plant LOCATION : Nashik Nashik plant supports the following businesses: Bakeries business in India Retail cake mixes for India & International markets of South East Asia and South Africa. Food service chains with frozen tortilla capabilities Ready to Eat Frozen Muffins for India and select export markets Frozen flat breads for exports out of India mainly meant for ethnic Indian diaspora 1. Purpose of the Position Maintenance Lead is overall accountable to improve the reliability of the platform through ownership of critical systems and capability development to deliver expected results. Responsible for building Technical Capability across the platform to develop multi-skilled technician self-sufficient teams. In addition, works to eliminate losses following a rigorous daily process that is data driven and focused on Root Cause Elimination. 2. Key Responsibilities & Expectations Role models Engaging Leader behaviours via ILEAD to build a high performing team Role Model Humane & Food Safety Accountable for the 24-hour results of the platform Supports and leads capability development of the platform members Measure and drive out equipment losses to deliver targeted line / system results by providing coaching, support, direction and ongoing feedback. Participate and accountable for Key DMS of Platform DDS. Own PM Daily management systems across the platform and accountable to coach / develop technician system owners who own these systems across the platform Defect Handling: Facilitates documentation of standards with technicians and coachs technicians through the identification, prioritization, and resolution of defects Breakdown Elimination: Identification of triggers, tracking of BEs through dice chart, and ensures technician system owners complete BEs and implementation of countermeasures. Planning and Scheduling: Plans, schedules, and assigns work (CM and PM) including shutdown planning in partnership with the technician system owners This position is technical and is depended on to deliver other critical technical expertise to drive out o Equipment losses: o Analysis of equipment performance and improving component life. o Tracking and reporting of maintenance measurement data o Plan & Deliver spring plan M/R costs for the line (materials, services, OT) o Data integrity of maintenance management system o Identifies and addresses safety risks related to maintenance activities o Foster an inclusive environment where people work together to solve problems. o Partner with Engineering organization on capital and product commercialization. Follow personal development plan to: build platform technical skills and where applicable support trainer and qualifier needs via the Technician Career System Develop deep understanding of all DMS (CIL, PCL, DH, BE, etc.) to optimize coaching span of influence and loss analysis Apply the Reward and Recognition System expectations at the individual and team level Able to cover the Platform Leader and Process Leader responsibilities in the short-term absence. Develop and/or review designs and installations to ensure correctness and compliance with standards, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and project deliverables. Responsible for the plant Mechanical Maintenance. Can understand / troubleshoot and coach on Plant Mechanical components for various equipment in Platform Budgeting of repairs & maintenance, Spare planning & capability building of team Person can be from Mechanical background with expertise in core and hands-On exp in non-core Must have demonstrated strong contribution toward loss elimination and reliability improvement 3. Candidate Profile BE / BTech in Mechanical Having 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Maintenance System/Compliances - Capability of maintenance planning systems, Basic Knowledge in Electrical, Instrumentation Systematic approach of troubleshooting (Root Cause analysis tools, Breakdown elimination etc.) Budgeting of repairs & maintenance, Spare planning & capability building of team Ability to make sound technical decisions. Knowledge on Safety and Quality System implementation.
