Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure for solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in solar energy projects, ensuring that all civil works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
• Site Assessment and Planning:
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine suitable locations for solar installations.
  • Develop detailed site plans and layouts, including grading, drainage, and foundation designs.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate civil works with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design and Engineering:
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents for civil infrastructure.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and integrity of foundations and support structures.
• Project Management:
  • Manage civil engineering aspects of solar projects from conception to completion.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of contractors and construction teams on-site.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction best practices.
  • Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify any defects or issues during construction.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on construction progress, quality, and compliance.
• Health and Safety:
  • Enforce health and safety protocols on-site to protect workers and the public.
  • Conduct safety training and briefings for construction personnel.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.
Qualifications
• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience solar energy projects.
  • Proven track record of managing civil works for large-scale construction projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro).
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydrology.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and best practices.
